Carl Milofsky CARL MILOFSKY received his B.A. (Sociology) from Brandeis University, and his Ph.D. (Sociology) from the University of California at Berkeley. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, and was a founding member of the Program on Nonprofit Organizations at Yale University while on the faculty there. He has taught at Bucknell since 1982. His research has been focused on the sociology of community-based organizations, and he has an ongoing research partnership with members of the Centre for Voluntary Action Studies (CVAS) at the University of Ulster.

Bill Flack BILL FLACK received his B.A. (Psychology) from the University of Maine, his M.A. (Psychology) from Wesleyan University, and his Ph.D. (Clinical Psychology) from Clark University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Behavioral Science Division of the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder at the Boston Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He has taught at Bucknell since 2000. His research has been focused on normal and abnormal emotions, sources of conflict and disruption in social interactions, and psychological trauma. He is collaborating with colleagues at the University of Ulster on research into the social interaction patterns of Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland.

KIM DAUBMAN has taught psychology and women's studies at Bucknell since 1991. She received her B.A. (Psychology) from the University of Nebraska, and her Ph.D. (Social Psychology) from the University of Maryland. She has broad interests in peace and justice issues, and is a co-founder of the local organization, Center for Nonviolent Living. She teaches regularly in the residential Social Justice College, and advises the student group Bucknellians for Peace. Her recent scholarship focuses on the relationship between broad world views and more specific attitudes, especially attitudes toward the environment.
