Type Locality:Argentina, Córdoba Prov., Estancia San Luis (31o24’S, 64o48’W).
Distribution:Known only from the type locality above 2000 m in the Sierras Grandes (Argentina).
Comments:Not recognized by Galliari et al. (1996). Karyotpe has 2n=52, FN=56 (Giménez et al., 1999).
