Common Name:Famatina Tuco-tuco
Type Locality:Argentina, Rioja Prov., La Invernada.
Distribution:Sierra Famatina of NW Rioja Prov., Argentina.
Comments:Recognized as a subspecies of fulvus by Cabrera (1961) and Woods (1993), but considered provisionally distinct by Contreras et al. (1977) and Galliari et al. (1996) recognized it as distinct.
