Common Name:Pemberton’s Deermouse
Type Locality:México, Sonora, San Pedro Nolasco Isl; 27°58'N, 111°24'W.
Distribution:Known only from the type locality.
Status:IUCN – Extinct.
Comments:P. eremicus species group. Derivation from a P. merriami-like ancestor postulated by Lawlor (1971a). Probably extinct—see Lawlor (1983) and Alvarez-Castañeda and Ortega-Rubio (2003). See Alvarez-Castañeda and Cortés-Calva (2003, Mammalian Species, 734).
