(1974); also see remarks on those studies by Hafner et al. (2001:785). Formerly included P. interparietalis (see Banks, 1967, and Lawlor, 1971a). Extinction or critical endangerment of various island populations, principally due to domestic cat introduction, evaluated by Mellink et al. (2002) and Alvarez-Castañeda and Ortega-Rubio (2003). |
