Common Name:Osgood’s Deermouse
Type Locality:México, Nayarit, Valle de Banderas.
Distribution:Coastal plain of S Nayarit to S Guerrero, interior of Michoacán and Guerrero along the basin of the Río Balsas, México.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:The forms angelensis, coatlanensis, and sloeops had been mistaken as subspecies of O. banderanus and were reassigned to Peromyscus mexicanus by Musser (1969).
