Common Name:Cajamarca Thomasomys
Type Locality:Perú, Cajamarca Dept., páramo between Cajamarca and San Pablo, 4000 m.
Distribution:NW Perú; limits uncertain.
Comments:Another of the large Thomasomys relegated to a subspecies of T. aureus by Cabrera (1961). Morphological contrasts sketched by Voss (2003), who acknowledged T. praetor as species.
