Type Locality:Papua New Guinea, Morobe Prov., Rawlinson Mtns.
Distribution:Extreme NE interior New Guinea (Huon Peninsula), 1000 to 3300 m; Umboi Isl and Mt. Agulupella in W New Britain (introduced).
Status:IUCN – Endangered. Uncommon.
