Type Locality:Haití, cave approximately 4 mi. (6.4 km) E St. Michel.
Distribution:Haití.
Status:IUCN – Extinct.
Comments:Some analyzed bones from Haítí dated from the 14th century (MacPhee et al., 1999). Found in association with Rattus bones.
