Retained as a species until judged the same as R. l. leucodactylus by Cabrera (1961). J. A. Allen (1901b), however, pointedly contrasted his new species with Peruvian R. leucodactylus; Musser and Carleton (1993) and Tribe (1996) retained it as species. Geographic range and closest specific relative uncertain. |
