Common Name:Western Quoll
Type Locality:Australia, New South Wales, Liverpool Plains.
Distribution:Western Australia; formerly in South Australia, Northern Territory, S Queensland, W New South Wales, and NW Victoria (Archer, in Tyler, 1979; Waithman, 1979).
Status:IUCN – Vulnerable. Rare.
Comments:Formerly included in Dasyurinus. The New Guinea records of this species actually refer to D. spartacus.
