May, 1981 After Star Drive at La Mama. Directed by O-Lan and Kathleen Cramer which I saw. First in 1979 by the Overtone Theatre created by O-Lan when she was fired from the cast of Goldie Hawn's Private Benjamin. Overtone presented Drum Wars which SS conceived, directed, and played with five other drummers and they feature Roxanne Rogers who also appears at the Magic. Nominated for a Bay Area Critics Award and an original score for Katy Cruel. O-Lan comes to NYC. Superstitutions based on prose pieces and journal entries that would eventually become Motel Chronicles, with music by Catherine Stone. Opens at the Intersections theatre with the author Walker Hayes.
Summer, 1981 True West at Marines Theatre in S.F. Revival by the Magic, directed by Robert Woodruff.
Fall, 1981 Frances filmed in Seattle.
