Facts at a Glance
- Undergraduate financial aid (grants/scholarships, loans, and work
study) awarded directly by Bucknell University is based on financial
need. Aid eligibility is determined by our analysis of family income,
assets, number of family members, and number of dependent children enrolled
in degree-seeking post-secondary institutions.
- Offers of financial aid from Bucknell are made in writing, only by
the Office of Financial Aid, and are valid for one year at a time.
- It is critical for students to adhere to deadlines in applying for
financial assistance. Students who do not file aid applications in a
timely manner will jeopardize their opportunities for university funding.
- Students must reapply for financial aid each year by submitting new
application materials.
- The composition of aid packages may fluctuate from one year to the
next, based on availability of funds, as well as financial need as determined
by the Office of Financial Aid.
