Interdisciplinary Environmental Courses Semester on the Susquehanna

Interdisciplinary Environmental Courses
We are currently developing a new curriculum of team-taught interdisciplinary courses. Initially, developed courses to be offered in the 2008-09 academic year are:

  • Stream Restoration. This course focuses on the fluvial process and aquatic ecological considerations that should be used in stream restoration. Students will gain real-world experience by developing a restoration plan for Miller Run, a small stream on the Bucknell Campus, that is severely degraded. The hope is that this plan will be incorporated into long-term campus master plan. Professors: R. Craig Kochel (geology) and Matt McTammany (biology).

    Course Number: UNIV 298/BIOL 298/ENST298/GEOL298.
