In 1950, the central part of Larison Hall had been remodeled. In 1959/60, improvements were completed when the wings were remodeled. Bucknell Cottage was also remodeled and referred to as both the Annex to Larison Hall, and Larison Cottage.

In 1963, di ning facilities were renovated at a cost of $172,651.00, including a redesigned kitchen with a separate bakery and a new cafeteria serving room. In 1965, freshman women lived in Larison.
