Common Name:Sumatran Long-tailed Shrew
Type Locality:Indonesia, Sumatra, Mt. Singalang, 2,000 m.
Distribution:Mountains of N and W Sumatra.
Status:IUCN – Endangered.
Comments:A large species with a long tail. Revised by Ruedi (1995). Corbet and Hill (1992) also referred a specimen from Java which may represent paradoxura, or a different species (Ruedi, 1995).
