Chromosomal data documented by Corti et al. (1999) and Lavrenchenko et al. (1999). Distribution in isolated Harenna Forest of S Ethiopia documented by Lavrenchenko (2000). Yalden et al. (19965) cited Schlitter as collecting this species and S. albocaudata on Mt Entoto north of Addis Ababa, which would be west of the Rift Valley, but those records have yet to be documented by publication. |
