Type Locality:"Mexico"; Cabrera (1958) listed the type locality as "Minas de Montuosa, cerca de Pamplona, departamento del norte de Santander, Colombia".
Distribution:Belize, Brazil, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico (Veracruz, Tabasco, and Yucatan), Peru.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Synonyms allocated according to Cabrera (1957).
