Distribution:SW Ecuador, NW Peru.
Status:IUCN – Data Deficient as Pseudalopex sechurae.
Comments:Placed in Pseudalopex by Berta (1988); in Dusicyon by Cabrera (1957). Considered in Canis (Pseudalopex) by Langguth (1975) and Van Gelder (1978).
