Common Name:Smith's Shrew
Type Locality:China, Sichuan, "Ta-tsien-lu".
Distribution:C Sichuan to W Shaanxi (China).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc) as Soriculus smithii.
Comments:Regarded as a subspecies of salenskii by Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951:60), but as a separate species by Corbet (1978c:24). Formerly included parca and furva; but see Hoffmann (1985b).
