Comments:Included in quadraticauda by Allen (1938), Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951) and subsequent authors, but the species has a much smaller and narrower skull (see measurements in Hoffmann, 1987:134) and was therefore regarded as distinct (Hutterer, 1993a). These differences were also recognized by Corbet (1978c:26) and Lunde et al. (2003b). Revised by Jiang et al. (2003).
