Common Name:Grant's Forest Shrew
Type Locality:Uganda, Ruwenzori East, Mubuku Valley, 10,000 ft. (3,048 m).
Distribution:Mountain forests of C (Dem. Rep. Congo, Uganda, Rwanda) and E Africa (Kenya, Tanzania).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:The isolated East African populations require a careful comparison with typical granti from the Rift Valley.
