Common Name:Remy's Pygmy Shrew
Type Locality:Gabon, Makokou.
Distribution:Rain forest in Gabon, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo.
Status:IUCN – Critically Endangered (not justified).
Comments:One of the smallest shrews. Genetically related to S. infinitesimus (Querouil et al., 2001).
