Type Locality:Bolivia, Cochabamba Dept., Tapacarí, 9900 ft (3018 m).
Distribution:Upper E Andean slopes in WC Bolivia, 1300-3875 m (see Anderson, 1997:Fig. 750).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Hershkovitz (1962) synonymized wolffsohni as a subspecies of P. darwini, a relationship at variance with morphological and karyotypic information (Pearson, 1958; Pearson and Patton, 1976).
