Common Name:Tate’s Oryzomys
Type Locality:Ecuador, Tungurahua Prov., Palmera, 4000 ft (1219 m).
Distribution:Known from only three localities along E Andean foothills, 1128-1524 m, of C Ecuador.
Comments:A close relative of O. yunganus (see Musser et al., 1998).
