Many thanks to Lina Gorchakova and Irina Pankratova who proof-read the Russian grammar, and Gerry Greenberg, Vadim Zaliva and others have offered several comments which led to improvements in it.

We are also grateful for the assistance of various people at the Bucknell Computer Center, in particular, Gene Spencer, Mary Beth James and the ITEC crew (Steve Rickard and Jeremy Dreese, especially), and Dan Kelly. Chris Reynolds, former director of Bucknell's Media Services Center, also deserves a tip of the hat for his assistance in scanning our slides and the like.

Most recently, Skeets Norquist made a major contribution by converting our list of US firms in Russia to a highly sophisticated searchable data base.
