Achievement Recognition Opportunity
An ARO, or 'Achievement Recognition Opportunity', is a glorious moment in the course when you are allowed to demonstrate your achievements to yourself and to others (e.g. the instructor). In other words, it is a joyous opportunity to celebrate your intellectual accomplishments and to ponder how we can strengthen them even more over the remainder of the course. An exciting and happy event, indeed!
