In 1915, the Trustees recommended, "Fitting up third story of the Main Academy Building for Biological Laboratory." By January 1916, this had been done at a cost of $802.00 and the laboratory was in use. However, there was "....still a need for the introduction of sky lights." The sky lights had been installed by the time this photograph was taken. The photograph is taken from Bucknell University Bulletin 17th Series No. One, 1920. The windows to the right in the photograph faced the Annex to the Academy. In fact, the brick wall of the Annex is visible through the window that is to the far right.
