Distribution:N Burma, China (Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan. Recently extinct, or absent in Guizhou, Gansu, Shaanxi, and Qinghai; see Wei, et al., 1999), Nepal, Sikkim (India).
Status:CITES – Appendix I; IUCN – Endangered.
Comments:Reviewed by Roberts and Gittleman (1984). Synonyms allocated according to Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1951).
