Common Name:Whitaker’s Shrew
Type Locality:Morocco, between Morocco City and Mogador, Sierzet.
Distribution:Atlantic and Mediterranean parts of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia; one record from coastal Egypt (Hutterer, 1994). Range in Morocco mapped by Aulagnier and Thévenot (1987); in Algeria by Rzebik-Kowalska (1988); and in Tunisia by Sara and Zanca (1992).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
