Common Name:Saharan Shrew
Type Locality:Morocco, Agadir Prov., 8 km south Tarfaya, 27°50'N, 12°30'W.
Distribution:Atlantic coast of Sahara; south of Agadir (Morocco) through Western Sahara into Mauritania.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Recorded as whitakeri from Western Sahara by Heim de Balsac (1968e). Reviewed by Hutterer (1987).
