Common Name:Armenian Shrew
Type Locality:Armenia, 14 km down river from Garni.
Distribution:Armenia, Caucasus.
Status:IUCN – Data Deficient.
Comments:Revised by Gureev (1979), who considered armenica as distinct from pergrisea; but see Dolgov and Yudin (1975), who considered it a subspecies; Gromov and Baranova (1981) and Zaitsev (1991) listed it as a distinct species.
