Common Name:Red-handed Howler
Type Locality:Brazil, Pará, Rio Capim.
Distribution:N Brazil (mainly south of Lower Amazon, east of Rio Madeira); Mexiana Isl (Brazil); in Pará Prov. (Brazil), north of Amazon.
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Critically Endangered as A. b. ululata, otherwise Lower Risk (lc) as A. belezebul (sic).
Comments:A. seniculus species group. Does not include nigerrima (Groves, 2001c).
