Common. | Comments: | P. lateralis/penicillata species-group. McAllan and Bruce (1989) argued that the original publication of this name is in The Athenaeum, 670:685 [29 August 1840]. Eldridge and Close (1995) noted the existence of two undescribed races from Central Australia and West Kimberley. |
