Common Name:Gaspé Shrew
Type Locality:Canada, "Mt. Albert, Gaspé Peninsula, Quebec, 2000 feet [= 610 m] elevation".
Distribution:Gaspe Peninsula, N New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Cape Breton Isl (Canada).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Subgenus Otisorex. For comparison with dispar, see Kirkland and Van Deusen (1979). Reviewed by Kirkland (1981, Mammalian Species No. 155).
