Region (China). | Status: | IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). | Comments: | Subgenus Sorex, S. araneus group. Karyotype has 2n = 26-29, FN = 46. Type species of subgenus Stroganovia, see Yudin (1989), who recognized three subspecies, daphaenodon, sanguinidens, and scaloni. Okhotina (1993) transferred orii to caecutiens. |
