Common Name:Lesser Large-headed Shrew
Type Locality:Dem. Rep. Congo, Kasai, Lubondaie (75 km south of Luluabourg), Tshimbulu (Dibaya).
Distribution:Lowland primary forest in S Cameroon, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Dem. Rep. Congo, and Central African Republic.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:A subspecies camerunensis was named by Heim de Balsac (1968b), based on a specimen from Mt. Cameroon.
