Common Name:White-footed Conilurus
Type Locality:SE Australia (Neuholland); see Mahoney and Richardson (1988:155).
Distribution:Australia; once occurred in a strip from SE Queensland through coastal New South Wales and Victoria into SE South Australia (Robinson et al., 2000; Watts and Aslin, 1981:130); see Williams and Menkhorst (1995a) for past distribution in Victoria.
Status:IUCN – Extinct.
Comments:Living C. albipes have not been encountered by naturalists for over a century and the species is apparently extinct (Mahoney and Richardson, 1988; Watts and Aslin, 1981; Dixon, 1995a).
