Common Name:Thomas’s Pygmy Jerboa
Type Locality:Afghanistan or S Tibet (Ognev, 1963b; Vinogradov, 1928).
Distribution:Known only from the type specimen, of which the country of origin, "Afghanistan", is questionable (see discussion in Hassinger, 1973, and Roberts, 1977, 1997). Listed as occurring in S Xizang, China by Wang (2003).
Status:IUCN – Data Deficient.
Comments:Subgenus Prosalpingotus (see Pavlinov and Shenbrot, 1985). Reviewed by Ognev (1963b).
