Common Name:Four-toed Jerboa
Type Locality:Libyan Desert between Siwa and Alexandria.
Distribution:Coastal gravel plains of Egypt and E Libya, from near Alexandria to the Gulf of Sirte (see Ranck, 1968, and Osborn and Helmy, 1980).
Status:IUCN – Endangered.
Comments:Subgenus Scarturus.
