Common Name:Striped Bush Squirrel
Type Locality:NE Mozambique, Mocímboa, 11°S on the coast. "Africa orientalis, Mossimboa, Quitangonha, a 11° ad 15° Lat. Austr."
Distribution:S Kenya, Tanzania, N Mozambique.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Commonly spelled flavivittis but this was an unjustified emendation by Peters (1852).
