Common Name:Hershkovitz’s Marmoset
Type Locality:Brazil, Amazonas, near mouth of Rio Guariba, left bank of Rio Aripuană.
Distribution:Interfluvium of the Rios Aripuană and Roosevelt (Brazil).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Least Concern as Mico intermedius.
Comments:Subgenus Mico. Recognized as a full species by de Vivo (1991).
