Common Name:Godman’s Rock-wallaby
Type Locality:Australia, Queensland, Cooktown (Black Mtn).
Distribution:Near Mt. Carbine and Mitchell River, north to Bathurst Head, west to "Pinnacles" (Australia).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Threatened by genetic introgression from P. assimilis.
Comments:P. lateralis/penicillata species-group. Included in penicillata in a preliminary account by Poole (1979:21). Separated as a full species by Eldredge and Close (1992).
