Distribution:Fergusson Isl; Papua New Guinea.
Status:IUCN – Endangered. Rare.
Comments:Considered a subspecies of trivirgata by Ziegler (in Stonehouse and Gilmore, 1977:131); considered a distinct species by G. G. George (1979:94).
