Common Name:Silky Cuscus
Type Locality:Papua New Guinea, Angabunga Range, Owgarra, 6,000 ft (= 1829 m).
Distribution:C and E New Guinea, higher elevations, above 1500 m.
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Common.
Comments:Called P. vestitus by most authors, but see Menzies and Pernetta (1986:594).
