Common Name:Black Bearded Saki
Type Locality:Brazil, Pará, lower Rio Tocantins, Cametá.
Distribution:Brazil south of Amazon estuary, between Rios Tocantins and Gurupi.
Status:CITES – Appendix II; U.S. ESA – Endangered as C. s. satanas; IUCN – Endangered as C. s. satanas.
Comments:The subspecies assigned to this species by Hershkovitz (1985) were regarded as distinct species by Bonvicino et al. (2003b).
