Thankyou very much for your kind note. It is precisely this kind of contact that I hoped to make when I began thinking about the Shepard web site. Let's certainly talk should you come into the area and I will look for you after the Chicago performance at Signature. I'm directing Icarus' Mother this term at Bucknell, so we will have interesting concepts to share about working on Sam's early pieces.

I read about the Signature season in the Atlanta Constitution last Spring and I have intended to make the work a feature on the web site. Would you be so kind as to send me the following:

1. A season brochure
2. The name and address (preferably e mail) of the dramaturge or literary manager at Signature. I need to regularly access reviews, programs and other materials.

3. Information on When the World was Green. Will the cast be the same as that in Atlanta.

4. Signature usually works personally with the playwrights whom they feature. Has Sam agreed to work with the company? When will he be in NYC? Are there any public events connected with his residency.

Thankyou again for stopping by the web site. I hope that we can initiate a correspondence. I will search through my materials for useful items on Chicago. I will post the results of my search under published works, sub page Chicago.
