WOODY HARRELSON (Taxi Driver) won Academy Award, Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations as Best Actor for his critically acclaimed portrayal of controversial magazine publisher Larry Flynt in Milos Forman's film "The People vs. Larry Flynt." Other films include "Play It To The Bone," "The Thin Red Line," "The Hi-Lo Country," "EdTV," "Wag The Dog," "Welcome To Sarajevo," "Palmetto," "Kingpin," "Natural Born Killers," "Indecent Proposal," "Money Train," "White Men Can't Jump," "Wildcats," "Doc Hollywood," "LA Story," and "The Cowboy Way." For seven years he also starred in the hit television show "Cheers," for which he received an Emmy Award. He recently directed his own play, FURTHEST FROM THE SUN, which had a successful run at the Theatre de la Juene Lune in Minneapolis, and starred in the Roundabout's revival of the N. Richard Nash play THE RAINMAKER.
