Bob Gainer, an MFA graduate of the Yale School of Drama, has directed regionally at The Yale Repetory Theatre in New Haven, The American Place Theatre, Theatre at St. Clements, and TheatreWorks USA in New York City, The Peterborough Players, and at The Library of Congress. He has directed U.S. premieres of new works by both British and American playwrights. Bob has been increasingly seen on stage in several Bucknell theatre and dance productions, and has also performed with The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, The Omaha Magic Theatre and The Mabou Mines Experimental Theatre Company. Previous to his twelve years at Bucknell, Bob has taught and directed at Smith & Hampshire Colleges, The Williamstown Summer Theatre Festival, The Hartford Stage Company and The Eugene O'Neill National Theatre Institute. |
