American Chamber of Commerce in Russia

Business Collaboration Center (BCC)

Established in 1995, BCC supports the development and stabilization of small and medium private business in Russia. With funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), BCC achieves this objective by strengthening and serving the technical assistance community which in turn supports Russia's emerging private business sector.

This site is mostly in Russian but there are a couple of pages in English.

BISNIS

BISNIS is the Department of Commerce's on-line Business Information Service for the Newly Independent States (= BISNIS). It is the U.S. Government's one-stop shop for doing business in Russia and the other states of the former Soviet Union. BISNIS provides business reports (e.g. leading exports to NIS nations), market information and business leads, and the latest U.S. embassy cables (searchable).

Stock Exchange

The Russian Exchange is a closed Joint Stock Company in Moscow with foreign investments and a capital stock of 250 million roubles. Western firms own about 10% of the capital stock and take an active part in the work of the Exchange. Its website provides weekly news and an annual report on a range of economic indicators including the commodities, securities, and futures markets -- in English and Russian.

Center for Civil Society International

This organization coordinates efforts to build a new civil society in Russia and the NIS. Here you will find links to voluteer services and internships related to these activities. There is also a page for penpals.

Russian Trade Connections

Russian Trade Connections is a publication on Russia-Asia-America business and trade. It contains information on setting up companies in Russia, trading in Russia, and much more on US-Russian trade relations.

RINACO Plus

RINACO Plus provides a wide range of economic overviews and summaries including analyses of industry, Russian securities, market indices and information on depositories, governing authorities, and securities trading.
